Iron-on Patch Instructions
1. Prepare your iron by adjusting it to a medium to high temperature.
2. Confirm that the garment or fabric is clean and smooth, devoid of any wrinkles. Place it flat on a solid, stable surface that can withstand heat.
3. Place a thin cloth or cotton fabric over the patch to act as a barrier, preventing direct contact between the iron and the embroidered surface.
4. Position the hot iron directly over the patch, ensuring it covers the design entirely. Apply steady, uniform pressure without shifting the iron. Maintain this position for approximately 30 seconds.
5. Flip the garment inside-out and position the hot iron on the back of the patch, directly over the design. Apply pressure for roughly 30 seconds.
6. Allow the patch and garment to cool for a few minutes. Refrain from touching the patch while it's still warm to ensure proper bonding with the fabric. It's advisable to wait at least 48 hours before washing to ensure optimal durability
*Iron-on patches usually are not permanent. The adhesive backing on the patch can deteriorate over time or be compromised by heat or other factors. For a permanent solution, sewing the patch onto the garment is necessary.
